  Still best steak in town, I keep trying all the other steak houses and beato dry aged rib eyes are still the best. You can probably get a good one from Prime @ Meridien but it’ll cost you double plus booking there is pretty difficult last minute unlike beato.If you crave a good steak and don’t want to dress up this is the place to go.

  Tried their dry aged steak when they just open a couple years ago. Back then, they didn’t have dry aged wagyu. They have it this time. Oh my, it is the best steak I ever had. So creamy it melts in your mouth. During my second visit, the staffs was very friendly and nice. They explained everything, even recommended a good wine to pair the steak with. The only downside was the room temperature, it was a little on the cold side. Good thing they server everything on a warm plate. Food – 4.5Service – 4Ambience – 4Price – 3.5Will I return? – Yes.

  I’ve recently been to Beato, with a group of 6 friends to have steak. My experience was rather mixed.We were seated outside since we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered steaks all across the menu, sirloins, tenderloins, entrecotes. The sides arrived first, and admittedly they were all really good. Rarely had such good fries in a restaurant in KL, in the same goes for the sweet potatoe fries, baked potatoes, and the other small sides that we had.The steak were sadly pretty average in my opinion. One of the steaks was well done instead of medium rare, something that simply shouldn’t happen. Advertising with dry-aged steaks always certain raises expectations which haven’t really been met. The steaks were decent, but not any better than normal non-aged steaks e.g. from South America and nowhere close to a regular steak in Japan. Considering that and the fact that you’re unlikely to leave the place for less than RM200 per person, I think there is quite some room for improvement.

  Casual Steak Restaurant in Publika.Extensive steak selection, generous portions and good quality meat.Perfect for a casual dinner after work,not recommended for business meetings or date nights as the crowd is rather dressed for a day at the beach. The staff is very attentive, the prices are more than fair and the wine menu is ok. Don’t expect to have a Chateau Lafite  accompanying your steak but rather something from Australia.Will definitely come back!
