I still find their food to be good despite some claim that the quality has gone down. The lamb chops were fantastic, the beef wrap is awesome n the burgers were pretty good too.. I have no complains about Las vacas!
My favourite place to get proper steaks. Prices are reasonable. They know what they’re doing with their meats and they don’t ruin it with unnessary sauces, just the pure taste of the meats are enhanced. Very simple shop that’s attached to the butcher. Classy and nice. Definitely a place to go if you love steaks, burgers, (their lamb burger is amazing) and ribs.
Ate at this restaurant for New Years Eve of 2017 dinner and was expecting a more fine-dining steak restaurant. A casual dining place set in what felt like an authentic butcher shop, excluding the overwhelming odour of dead and hanging pieces of meat. It was amusing to see the shop heavily decorated with signs of being a Halal restaurant that serves genuine Aussie beef, inclusive of photographs of team trips to Tasmania and Brisbane Australia. Staff were soft-spoken and had poor English diction. Despite the occassional miscommunication here and there, the wagyu steak made it all worthwhile and a definite recommendation for good and expensive steak in the KL district. I hardly eat steak due to a long history of unfortunate experiences with rock solid steaks that left me attempting to tear through the pieces of flesh like a hyena. Thank heavens this restaurant provided the complete opposite experience, where I felt oddly at peace. I ordered a 200g waygu rib-eye steak served medium well and LOVED it. It was served with a delicious piece of garlic bread and salad. Both of which, I wish I had more of. The rest of my family agreed in satisfaction towards the quality of meat Las Vacas offers. Delish steak!
Hmmm so they served the steak without stripping it properly. Not a good thing especially for seasoned steak eaters.The lamb burger however is delishhhh.
The local artist, Yuna, used to frequent this place, so we wanted to check it out. Ordered the lamb chop and it was alright. You get 3 medium sized pieces and they were plenty for 1 pax. Surprisingly a good place to chill with friends instead of getting your meat fest on.
