This place serves Yemeni cuisine in its most authentic form. The interiors have a plush feeling to them and the staff are very prompt and efficient in their service. The Saltah Fahsah, which was a lamb dish deserves a special mention. No worries if you are not very conversant in Yemeni and Middle Eastern food, the staff are more than happy to help you out with what you order. A must visit if you are looking for an authentic middle eastern, especially Yemeni cuisine experience.
The iftar buffet had many varieties. They go all out. The staff is polite and well-mannered. The food tastes amazing. I myself did not like the Konafa, but I love their Adani tea. The mutton was soft and so was the mandy chicken.
Having come from Dubai and very used to middle eastern cuisine especially Yemeni food, we just loved this place for it’s authenticity. We even had the food on the floor as is tradition.The must eats are the Saltah Fahsah (lamb), hanith (please ask for rib area meat), the Yemeni bread and do finish off with mint tea. They said they are a branch of the Mahareb in Dubai, which is quite believable by the quality and authenticity of the food.
Food is good but over priced compare to the other restaurants of similar cuisine. The location is convenient to park and one can skip the traffic jam of publika.
Marhaba Restaurant also prides itself in its array of mocktails and fresh juices. They have all the basics from Pinacolada to Fruit Punch and even their very own signature Marhaba Fruit Mocktail. Definitely worth the try as their main dishes were all extremely flavorful.
