This is love, everything is fresh! If it gets any fresher it’s alive! I feel great after eating this. Clean feel and portion is just right! I forgot the name of this one but it definitely has salmon in it! Their pastas are superb too! Try them all! To be honest I do feel that their food is priced on a higher end. Seafood is expensive. When you don’t mind to splurge sometimes, why not.
I ordered the grilled chicken to take away. It was by far the worst grilled chicken (if it could even qualify as ‘grilled chicken’) I had ever tasted. The marinade was unpleasant, the chicken was not fresh – it tasted like it was a leftover that was re-heated several times over. The salad that came with it was dressed in a dressing that was much too sour. You should be ashamed of the quality particularly at the prices you charge. I am only rating it as 1 because there is no negative on The scale.
Some old pictures of Fat Fish. I’ve dined here a couple of times and found their seafood to be fresh. Not so much of the salad you see in this picture though. Crab meat salad for RM18.50. Very small portion (it looks big but it’s not enough for one pax). The crab meat is different from the usual pre-packed sticks, but it’s so minced that I can’t even tell if it’s fresh?
Went to The Fat Fish without any expectations but we went home blown away by the experience. all of our orders were fantastic. The stand out dish was definitely the 9pc sashimi. The fish was nicely cut and served on shaved ice, it was fresh and full of flavor. We also had the garlic cream and smoke salmon pasta which was well balanced and didn’t taste too heavy. The only slight disappointment was the fried squid in parmesan. The batter tasted a tad salty and hardly any parmesan flavor. Overall it was a great dining experience and we will definitely come again to try out the other items in the menu
