Probably 1 of the best dalgalbi I had tried after the one in publika & kepong. Not too salty & thirsty after eating. Ingredient are fresh & staffs are friendly. Probably need to improve the ventilation systems as it really chokes us up & the smell stay there for quite long and that time was only 3 table of guests.
It was ok. Basically everthing was not the best but still not bad. It is ok. The food is authentic Korean but not the best I tried. So I can just really only give 3.
This is the place where I tasted dak galbi for the first time and it didn’t succeed to ‘wow’ me. Dak galbi basically is stirfried cabbage, chicken and sweet potato. I would say that 2 portion would be enough to be shared by 3 person. The place quite spacious while I noticed that the service has improved significantly. Last time I came here, the server was quite attentive compared to my first time whereby lack of servers put me 20 mins alone to get cold water. For the spicy food lover, do try the super spicy. It is indeed super spicy. I and my friend mix 2 super spicy and 1 normal, honestly, I couldn’t handle it.
While the dak galbi looks promisingly good, taste wise it was really just OK and nothing fantastic. It was a bit bland on the flavor (by Malaysian standards) but at least the chicken and cabbage were enjoyable. With the added cheese, it feels like eating a spicy version of Hong Kong cheese baked-noodle.I would not recommend eating at Uncle Jang before an important appointment. Because of the less than adequate ventilation and the absence of hoods above the frying pans, you would smell like a Dak Galbi yourself later.
