I’m willing to brave the rain and travel here on a weekend, only to discover that I’m not the only one. The restaurant was crowded on Saturday! The sambal steam fish is my favourite – and at rm30 its value for money! Easily shared among 4 people, great when paired with rice. Order a vege and tofu and you are good to go! Such a solid chinese meal, will be back!
Mun Kee is 1 of my favourite steam fish head in KL. There are few branches. We ordered 1 non spicy fish head & 1 spicy fish head. The clay pot kang Kung is my favourite too. Steam tofu dish is normal. Price are reasonable. Staffs & the boss are always friendly & helpful.
I was trying to hunt a stall of Wan Tan Mee around the area which was recommended by my friend. Then could not locate the stall and we randomly pick Mun Kee Steam Fish Head since it was the nearest to where I park my car. There were not much people during weekday lunch, but certainly impress with their huge steam machine.
