Clean and bright. Environment is not too noisy. Forever in love with the cheese naan here! Grated cheese is sprinkled generously over naan which has been cut into pizza-like triangles. Great to have with the curry/dhal provided, but I usually ask for chicken curry. Super filling. Prices are decent. Drinks sometimes have too much ice in them for my liking.
This mamak is famous of their Cheese Naan. As a cheese lover, surely you should have a try on it. It’s different from other Cheese Naan. The cheese is spreaded on top of the Naan.
Went here on Sunday afternoon bringing nine of my friends and family telling them that the food was good during my earlier visit. But sadly they disappointed me and others this time. The masala tea delivered was white as horlicks. The barley drink served had gone sour. I asked to see the manager or person in charge but no one claimed or came forward. I had to tell off the staffs to buck up, myself, in the absence of a person in charge. I stopped another three of my friends who had just arrived from patronizing the shop. Yet no one apologized. I paid the full fare and walked out in disgust. Looks like they are very inconsistent in quality of food.
The place is quite easy to find thanks to Waze. Been here once in May 2017. The place is pretty much the same as all other Mamaks and there are a lots of chairs and tables so fear not if there is a crowd of people. If you sit towards the edge of the restaurant you can enjoy the shisha from a nearby shop if you’d like to to. In terms of service, the waiters are pretty friendly and they serve you the food that you’ve ordered relatively fast. In terms of the food, i ordered the garlic cheese naan (one of the specialities you could say of the restaurant) and the mie goreng ayam. The garlic cheese naan was good but i feel it could’ve been better with melted cheese because the naan that was served to me and my friends with grated cheese and honestly i’m not exactly a fan of naan with grated cheese. The mie goreng was average and identical to ones that you can find in any other mamaks. Honorable mention would be their Milo Ais & Teh Tarik both of which are much much better than many Mamaks in KL. Overall, i would personally recommend anyone who wants to try a different type of cheese naan to try out Nathan’s corner. I didn’t exactly like it but others may like it so do give it a shot if the opportunity is provided to you.
I have been to this mama stall few times, their food taste is above average. I always come back because of their good service. The environment is bright and clean. The price is reasonable, no harm to try.
