Good ambiance, great food and well served. Smoked salmon is a must try with the scallops. The pasta is rich in flavour and the cocktails are good too. Worth the pay.
Romantic environment.. excellent service. Very polite staffsWe had bruchetta and seared scallops as our appetizers. Mains were lamb rack and risotto.Plating of the food is fabulous. The risotto was cooked with perfection though it was slightly overpowered by the taste of the mussels. The lamb rack was cooked perfectly.. pink on the middle and well seared on the outer side. The baby carrots at the side was just in the right place as it balanced off the sour taste with its sweetness.Overall, recommended place to dine in either with partner family or friends.
Ambience was perfect for a date and the interior takes me back to my trip in Europe. The restaurant is huge and there is enough space if a private party was to be held there. The food was delightful. I’d say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. The portion of food was big regardless if it was a starter, a soup, pasta or pizza. Hence, the price you pay is worth the quality and size of the food. The service was splendid!! The waiter and waitresses were very prompt when a request has been made.
Ciao is the closest thing to being in Tuscany I have found in KL. We’ve spent a lot of time in Italy and this food and atmosphere really impresses us. I have been to Ciao a few times now and each time we leave having experienced wonderful, fresh and authentic food made from quality ingredients, excellent service (hard to find in KL sometimes) and beautiful ambience. They have just nailed it. It’s very romantic and has a lovely tranquil but sumptuous feel. The homemade pasta is incredible and every dish we’ve had has been exceptional – particularly the burrata, calamari, gnocchi, beef cheek agnolotti and the porcini risotto. It is perfect for a special night out, and definitely worth every penny. The only exception to perfection was one time where there was a large family table with a lot of very noisy children with inconsiderate parents, allowing them to blast their phones and games very loudly in the main dining area, which completely ruined the ambience. This was not acceptable for the upmarket, romantic style of the restaurant and almost ruined our date night, so next time perhaps large tables with children should be moved to a separate area. But this is the only fault I have found and we always look forward to returning.
