My go to ramen place in KL as food is pretty good and it doesnt put a hole in your wallet. Me and my partner’s favourite are smoked duck ramen and kimchi ramen. Its a shame they discontinued the coffee jelly few years back. We used to have it on weekends at Sunway pyramid branch when we were still students back then.
It is because of this particular branch in Sunway Velocity that I’ve started reading reviews before I enter any food premise. This place has terrible food etiquette and the taste is below any standards even that of Japanese franchises in Malaysia. What I mean by food etiquette is how the staff handles food. ie; letting your thumb touch the food when serving it. This is especially shocking when the lady manager is the one doing it. Overall I would not recommend anyone come to this outlet at Sunway Velocity though I hope the other outlets are different. But I would not dare give Ichiban Ramen a second chance as this outlet has ruined the name and reputation of Ichiban Ramen.
The main meals is nice, but not Gyoza comes with set as not fully fried. I like Matcha Orange Beverage here as good combination of taste. Fried Tafu is nice too.
