To date, this restaurant has been operated by at least two generations for almost 5 decades in the smack of the old Pudu market in Kuala Lumpur city. I personally love the signature lam mee (noodles in thick black sauce specially braised by the owner’s family recipe), the chicken curry noodles, and the heavenly marinated fish balls. The Ipoh sa hor fun (rice noodles in chicken based soup topped with shredded chicken meat), fried shrimp dumplings are delicious too.I have been to this restaurant for many times throughout the years. Whenever I have friends visiting Kuala Lumpur, I will take them to this restaurant to try out their foods especially their signature lam mee.The lady owner is very kind, friendly and humorous. There was once my mobile phone ran out of battery, she voluntarily helped me to charge my mobile phone.It may be quite crowded during lunch hours especially on weekends and holidays. However, it is worth waiting.Food & Beverage : 8/10Service : 6/10Price : 6/10Ambience : 6/10
