Sek Me Choys Bak Kut Teh has had a history of more than 20 years, it is one of the first shops in the whole of Malaysia to start making Pepper Bak Kut Teh. In 2006, it was chosen as one of the Top 20 National Kings of Bak Kut Teh. The owner started by selling his favorite dish, Pepper Bak Kut Teh, and named the restaurant after himself, Sek Me (Tin Ore) Choy (His Short Name).
