A popular place serving noodles. Often get to see long queues at most of the branches. Had the fish paste noodles with the superior soup showing on the menu. Taste just normal to me but with reasonable price.

I’ve heard that this is popular among local people. It’s ok to me, but not a must try. There was a queue there around 1pm for lunch. The soup has some special flavour, can’t really tell what it is. Beef ball is not very good, contains too much flour, not enough meat. But sliced beef is pretty good. Pork noodle soup and fish noodle soup maybe ok to Asian, but western people wouldn’t like them I think.
Ginger tea – decent for a chain restaurant, ginger is very spicy however it’s on the sweet side. 3.5/5Red date tea – pretty decent with a decent balance of flavours. 3/5Fried fu chuk – pretty normal in taste but its crispy, rather decent. 3/5Bak kwa – meat is well smoked but lacks in sweetness, decent. 3/5Ngor hiang – flavour is overly mild. Decent at best. 2.5/5Pork ball noodles – broth is very light, in fact I find it to be overly light, even lighter than of a fish all noodle soup you can find in hawkers. Pork balls have nearly no flavour and there’s a pepper aftertaste in the broth. Being extremely one dimensional, pepper makes the dish worse. It’s a very normal bowl of noodle which is edible. 3/5
