I recall fondly when they first opened up in AEON Bukit Tinggi more than 10years ago. Super excited to try it out because nobody else did fried chicken or mee suah like them. Somehow, their chicken was a bit too dry and spicy, not in a good way. Fortunately, their noodles fared better. While the name may ring a bell, the dish doesn’t quite originate from there specifically. Either way, who’s complaining when you got smooth noodles and juicy oyster with spicy sauce?
My favorite place to get mee sua and fried chicken. I love the oysters in the mee sua. Save it for the last usually. The chicken is crispy and i love the spice powder they put before serving. A go to place to have a light lunch la.haha
Their signature is crispy fried chicken, you can request for spicy if you like spicy. But, I din’t really enjoy the chicken. The chicken is coated with thick layer of flour and dry inside, no juicy taste from the meat. Too much of monosodium glutamate (MSG), you get thirsty easily after eating. I haven’t tried their porridge yet, cause I don’t really fancy. The price is reasonable, but their quality is not impressive.
