  They’re now offering castella cakes. Bought two different flavours, chocolate and cheese. I would prefer the original or cheese flavour over the chocolate one. They’re both not bad though, having that soft, spongy and smooth texture.

  Tried their new oden counter and it wasnt great. Table wasnt clean as all their staffs stayed behind the counter.

  I would like to share my experience about the poor quality food and service that I received from Mr. Chizu today (6th Dec 2015. around 12.30pm) at Leisure Mall outlet so that our general consumer can be aware of the ridiculous treatment that given to their customer.I brought a slice of Matcha crepe cake from the abovementioned outlet Friday evening (4th Dec 2015 around 18:00pm). The cake was put into my refrigerator half an hour later. When I take it out for consumption next day (5th Dec 2015) evening I (so do my sister) can feel that the cake was rotten, so I dump the cake immediately. Next I confirmed that my refrigerator is functional.In the beginning I was hesitate to drive back just to get back a replacement as it didn’t quite worth it from time, effort and economy point of view but I decided to go back to the outlet to address this matter to them for the following purpose:1. Simply get back a replacement to preserve my right as consumer. 2. Inform them so that they aware that they are selling rotten food to consumer.When I told my situation to the receptionist (Chinese lady) here is what I received :Oh…. The cake is finish already and then start to show an attitude of don’t want to make any conversation or entertain me and hoping that the issue will just end likes that. I have no choice but to ask her: “under such circumstance isn’t that you should at least make a replacement to me”?Her answer is rely classic “according to company rule I should bring back the rotten cake in order to made such reimbursement.” I was irritated by such treatment and decided to quit and complaint.I am quite a regular customer to the shop with a frequency of about 1 purchase almost every week or two weeks since after the outlet was launch at Leisure Mall. I believe it is frequency enough that some foreign worker inside the outlet is able to recognize me as a regular customer. Here is what I think Mr. Chizu treatment is inappropriate and stupid:1. Selling rotten food to consumer.2. The so call company rule to bring back the rotten cake is an absolute bull shit: (a) There is no such rule displayed out in their outlet to notice their customer before their purchase. & (b) who border to keep the rotten food in their house/storage as that will cause bacterial spared to others.Here are the things that I will do to protest such irresponsible culture of Mr. Chizu. 1. No more purchase from any of Mr. Chizu outlets from now onward.2. Share my story to social media and my friends around as free advertisement.3. File an official complaint to Mr. Chizu HQ.
