Tried their rich and creamy matcha and hojicha soft serves, which tasted awesome. The matcha and hojicha soft serve has a slightly creamier taste compared to their usual taste as i believe they added quite some extra amount of milk into them. But overall it’s a great and cozy place to enjoy rich tea-flavoured soft serve and spend time with your friend 🙂
Food:Ordered the Hojicha Regular Size. It has a very nice texture and it gives that initial Hojicha awesomeness. But the downside is that the taste doesn’t last. Because after a few seconds, the taste disappears and your taste pallets doesn’t register the taste at all. This Hojicha could be better if it was a little creamier and also maybe less sweet? Only do remember to drink lots of water after consumption cause it can make you rather thirsty!Price:- Hojicha Regular Size (RM12.90)For RM12.90, the portion was quite generous and definitely can be shared by 2 people.Service:One of the attendant serving me was new, but even though she could not remember the recipe in one of the item I asked her about – she was very determined to make sure I get the accurate recipe so that I know what I’m ordering. The order came quickly and didn’t have to wait that long.Ambience:Came here for supper on a Saturday at 8.45pm, only had 1 person queuing in front. It’s actually a very nice place to be at, as it is located at lower ground floor of EkoCheras Mall. Not too cold, and not heavily crowded like 1 Utama. Very nice looking place. Even a place to sit and eat the ice cream at!Overall Experience:Went to the SS2 branch a few years ago, but found out that they closed there and reopened here in the mall. I would recommend coming back here! They may not have the best Hojicha (Comparison to Inside Scoop, that one is legend), but it’s pretty good overall! 🙂
