The ladies who lunched. We found good set lunch that comes with free ice lemon tea, soup of the day and ice cream in an ale-drinking setting. The menu tips in favor of Western choices but there are a few Asian options should that tickle your fancy. We enjoyed a simple but very crispy app: vegetable spring rolls. The MOTHER dug in and demolished a lovely chicken carbonara pasta. The SISTER hoping to skip carbs, lost all resolution when Spaghetti Bolognese hits the table. I threw caution to wind and to hell with carbs, enjoyed a delicious plate of fried rice with shrimps. There’s an extensive choice of boozy favourites to wash all this lovely grub down with as well. Service: Attentive and friendly offering warm and welcoming vibes. Ideal for lazy weekends or drinks after work too but parking can be challenging these days as crowds to Faber Tower had picked up recently. AutoPay parking before exit.
