Salmon sashimi is lacking of taste. Cha soba is very good. Really worth it because the portion is huge. The skewers are a must have! Unagi, octopus and hotate are my favourites. Japanese pancake is really good but matcha ice cream is too creamy for my liking. Service is a big slow.

The ambience of the restaurant was really nice, the lighting was just right, the decors were pretty. We went on a weekday afternoon, so it wasn’t crowdy and was quite quiet. We had the Sunset Maki, which to my surprise was really really goooddd, the seared salmon on the roll was quite thick and flavorful. We also ordered the Unagi Set and Mix Teppan Set, and we were really satisfied with our food, totally worth the price! Truly a hidden gem in taman desa, will come back for more!

You Must TRY Koyaku Japanese Dining & Girll because I feel like this real japanese premium food, like Salmon Tataki Salad, Ankimo with Sea Snail, Japanese Gingko, Caviar, and Chilli Radish and Salad Sashimi Wrap! Koyaku Japanese Dining is dimly lit and the interior decor is very unique and interesting! A life size Ganbare Robocon stands right in the middle of the restaurant and various size of Astro Boy figurines can be seen throughout the whole restaurant. Small Japanese dolls and Japanese decors can seen everywhere in the restaurant. They also offered Omakase dining (starting from RM150) where the chef will be deciding and serving you the sushi and sashimi that he chose and made. It is different from ala carte where you order the meal that you like. Omakase dining would be a great experience for people that love sashimi as the chef will serve the freshest and finest selection of sashimi available in the restaurant!
