Okay love this shop concept The overall ambiance gives us a nostalgic feeling and bring us back to the old days back in the 80’s.One of the main point of this restaurant is that they served yong tau fu but in a new twist where instead of serving with soup they came out with a Bbq yong tau fu under a charcoal flame. Well i tell you the taste is great and fascinating you will sure love it. Another never missed food is the chee qiong fan which served with curry or sweet sauce. The food here are great and overall are excellent.
Everything we had tasted fresh and good, slightly sweet from their home-made BBQ sauce with that distinctive smoky aroma imparted by charcoal. But some items especially those wrapped in bacon could be a tad too salty if eaten as it is. So I’d recommend having them with rice instead.
Basically Old Tricycle serves everything related to Yong Tau Foo, with their specialty being the barbecued ones. Each item starts from RM1.50 onwards, grilled by the staff at the side. There are set meals too on the menu to cater for couples and families, where the Couple Set priced at RM30comes with 15 pieces of different items which include the usual selection of fried foo pei, brinjal, bitter gourd, okra and more.
