Got to know about this place after my friend recommendation. Went around 7pm++. Have to write your name for table arrangement as they were many people queuing up for their turn to have a sit. Got to sit after around 10-15 mins wait. Picked some dishes to try on. Overall those cooked foods were ok. The bad side was the BBQ meats were not seasoning so were tasteless and nothing special. U have to go home to take a shower as u will be surrounded by smoke when u are doing the BBQ. Price wise was acceptable.
We arrived at about 7.30pm and saw a lot of people standing around, so I asked one of them and he explained to me that I need to put my name on the paper at the counter. And so I did. Think we waited about 30-40mins before we got a table. There’s different choices of meat so we ordered a few choices, squid and vegetables. I asked one of the staff (foreigner) about the squid, he didn’t know how to explain and I gave up explaining. After a while he came with the squid, he opened the aluminium foil to show me. It’s great he made the effort to explain to me by showing since he couldn’t do it verbally.Kim-chi is refillable. To be honest I didn’t quite enjoy the bbq because it doesn’t taste nice. Not sure if my bf is a horrible cook or the meat is not marinated. It was rather dry and tough. So he cooked it for a shorter time but still I feel its dry. The squid taste funny (as in the sauce they marinate the squid in), I don’t like it.As for their dipping sauce, I don’t find it special. I have tasted better dipping sauces.The mixed vegetables are good. Overall it is a nice place to chill and have bbq and beers with your friends.

Can’t believe it took us so long to eat at the legendary Taishu Yakiniku (大众烧肉) in Taman Desa, but here we are after so many years hearing about good things about them. And once you are here, it’s not hard to understand why this Japanese BBQ joint is so popular.
Trendy and Rustic place, great for an outdoor chilling and BBQ. However, if you are not into barbecuing, they do serve other food as well, and it is equally delicious!Delicious food/amazing environment. However. do wear something cooling as this is Malaysia weather! The restaurant have been around for about 4 years plus now, but they recently add on more delicious food. Opening Hours: Tuesday-Sunday (6pm-12am)
