Extremely disappointed by the cafe to be frank. I was hoping for so much more considering how much hype it was receiving. The soufflé was pretty looking but the taste was not as pretty. The sorbet was bitter and the ice wasnt fine enough so it was really hard. The soufflé wasnt the kind that dissolved in your mouth. However, the cafe was so beautifully decorated, one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes that ive ever been to actually. The minimal designs were super pretty!
I had the worst experience in my entire life. Waited for about an hour and did not get my dessert. The waitress was very inobservant, I raised my hand a few times, but she took no notice. She didn’t even realise that I had nothing on my table the entire time. I had to go to the kitchen and ask for our dessert, apparently they did not take my order. I left with my tummy empty, and with great disappointment. The waitress/ staff did not even apologise. Overall appalling service and experience!
The Earl Grey Milk Tea is not too bad – but overhype. It’s like Teh Tarik with minimal Earl Grey flavours. I guess I prefer just the normal Earl Grey tea. Earl Grey Soufflé (RM15). So people are going all crazy with their soufflé. Finally got to try this really pretty plate of dessert. Like what some people commented, it is indeed overrated. People are always in love with pretty things, and I’m just one of them! To give them some credits, their home-made grapefruit sorbet is pretty good. Just that the portion is so small – so small they must’ve scooped it with one round soup spoon. It melts really quickly too. The soufflé is great but not like super wow. It’s crusty outside and gooey inside. Sweetness is just right – not too sweet which is perfect! I just did not get the custard-like melt in the mouth feeling. Not sure if it’s over baked? I suck at baking so no comments.
Lovely molten matcha cake I had. Atmosphere was okay as well. Good place to hang out with friends for a chill night.. may come back again to try the waffles.
Taman Desa 一带有蛮多间富有特色的咖啡厅 (cafe)，今天我和欧巴就来到了这家 Wild Sheep Chase Cafe。这间cafe 的名字非常特别，引起了我的兴趣，所以就上网查了一下。Wild Sheep Chase 其实是一本著名的小说，而作者是店主所喜爱的。另一点是，店名是由店主对对方的昵称而得来的，“Sayang”，在中文听起来像是“傻羊”，因此有了这个这么有特色的名字。
