I have been coming back to Gindaco because they have good Takoyaki. Mum and I used to get the one at Aeon, but because it is a small kiosk, it was always a long wait. 3 pieces for around RM6 or so. Gindaco is kinda the more premium takoyaki place. Much pricier yes, but you are getting what you are paying for. They serve piping hot ones – there is a pretty long wait as they are made to order only but when there is a line, usually around 15 minutes cos they make it at one go.Crispy octopus balls of delicious. I love biting into it (when it has cooled down a little. i bit into a super hot one and i almost cried. you have been warned) it is crisp on the outside and yummy on the inside. The octopus on the inside is tender, not rubbery and it is flavourful. The dancing bonito flakes are not alive. THEY FREAK ME OUT but they are delicious. I have only tried to Original, but the one with Mentaiko looks great. The Yakisoba is just fine. Nothing much really. Also they have cute fish shaped filled things!
Tried Cheese Mentaiko Takoyaki. the takoyaki is easily broken, not firm enough. Still too soft. Even so it’s still the best one around i guess as there’s not many other choices. I reckon the Gindaco in Singapore can do better.
First time trying Gindaco, i order this takoyaki with prawn mayonaise on top and octopus inside takoyaki. I think this takoyaki is different with takoyaki i eat before at another brand, this takoyaki is crispy not soft like others. But the flavour is same.
