Bought to try , randomly chose this stall as I was passing by. It was so so, a bit tad salty , but otherwise ok. If u have a big family, need to get more than 1 as it’s a really small chicken.
Wow the famous Ipoh salted chicken! This is not a shop, it’s a factory already to despatch to any stop by car. Of course you are not leaving Ipoh without buying at least a couple of chicken for gifts.

Always I go ipoh must buy this shop salted chicken. Nowday the price more expensive than pass year ago. Wish the chicken size can be bigger. Staff attitude can be better.
This is my 2nd time I bought from them and prices has increased. Too salty and I hope they will improve on the size of chicken.
There are quite a few stalls that sell salt baked chicken in Ipoh but this the most famous. A veritable institution. Chicken is not too big..meat is juicy and fine. Not too salty or herbal. Great balance.
The salted chicken is quite tasty & cooked with herbs. Recommend all you taste buds should try it out. Closes at 6 pm though.
