I was extremely stressed out when I visited Sambal Hijau in TTDI recently, it had gotten extremely busy with parking becoming a menace and it is expensive. I realised the Indonesian workers are overcharging many people. I am delighted to have come across this place. Go for: The Nasi Campur with arrays of local delicious and spicy dishes. If coming for Nasi Campur, it is best to arrive around noon, as the dishes are usually doled out closer to lunch time for the offices nearby. The lontong with squid was pretty amazing. I wasn’t too pleased with the rice in Nasi Dagang, preferred the one in Ulam Kampung. Nasi Kerabu: Looks divine and appetizing, however it is average in taste. The sauce was too sweet. The friendly owner welcomes constructive criticism, which is a positive point. While you are here, indulge in Tea time treats: the usual Malay kuehs but the curry puffs were outstanding. Parking: if full, go indoors at the basements. Reasonable fees with Touch N GO as well.
