Another nice place to go for good food. Especialy for crabs. Butter sauce crabs was excellent, tasty, delicious, yummy to the max, accompanied also with steam and fried house bun, superb! The butter sauce was’t overly oily or sweet, just the right taste for our pallate.2 types of pork dishes, deep fried pork belly and sweet sour pork ribs, both were excellent. The meat was tender, juicy, succulent! The meat was marinated prior to deep frying, so it was really tasty, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.Steam tilapia fish with tofu, mushroom and preserved veggie was also good, the fish was fresh, but the sauce was a tad too sour.4 heavenly king in garlic: actually just ocra, eggplant, long bean and bottle bean (kecipir) cooked with garlic, was OK. Vegie were still crunchy, not overcooked.Vegetables curry was yummy, the coconut milk soup wasn’t too thick and the curry leaves used just the right amount so it wasn’t too over powering the whole dish. The curry contains of cabbage, eggplant, ocra, long beans and fried tofu.Overall, a good place to dine if you don’t mind a noisy ambience. Well, it’s a conventional chinese resto, you can expect it will include noise from ppl chatting, chairs creaking, etc.

Prawns are very big and fresh. So worth it. Ordered salted egg, marmite and Chinese wine prawns. All 3 prawn dishes were delicious. The man tau was okay. The sauce for butter crabs was too milky. Nice when you dip with man tau. The crabs were fresh but looks small. The tools for the crabs weren’t very helpful.
Nothing extraordinary. Many of the dishes can be improved. Will try the crab dishes the next time around since it’s supposedly their signature.
Like most restaurants that specialize in crab, fried mantau are served for dipping into the sauce of the dish may it be sweet and sour, butter or kam heong style. While we thoroughly enjoyed the buns, we hope they’d be more generous with the butter sauce, as we would have ordered seconds and even thirds of the mantou without skipping a beat.
