All KL-lites take note:Warung Cikgu made my life whole again. When I say good food is more than the dish itself, this is it. All they serve is simple rice with fried chicken, yet what delivers the taste is a story, written into every bite you take. It is a remix, a classic taste with a modern touch; stuff like these are sorely absent from our daily commute. Do head there before they become too commercialised, as they definitely do have what it takes.

The portion was big, not just a lot of rice, a lot of fried chicken too. But the bad side of this place is I can’t really see any vege on my plate. The coconut shake was so good that at the point it’s comparable with the one in Melaka. It is preferably to come here earlier like 11ish so don’t need to line up for long.

Reached here 1ish. There were still plenty of people lining up n eating. But since already here, so waited in line n only collect the number of prepared Nasi Mmangey for your own consumption. Then lined up for drinks n pay up. The rice was fluffy since it was steam cooked, curry n sambal (quite hot) complemented each other n the chicken pieces were flavourful. Overall, it was a tasty eat. But the restaurant looked aged n did not look that clean. I guess that is inevitable since all the workers were men.

Huge portion. When I ordered the coconut shake, they gave me in to-go cup which was significantly smaller than the glass. I specifically told them “minum sini”. Overall the food is good but it will be great if they prepare more vegetables.
