Their fried sotong with onion is the bomb to the fragrant curry rice on the banana leaf. Unlike some banana leaf places where they serve you cold curry on rice, Rathaa do keep their curry nice and warm before serving to ensure that you get a good stuff. Do come with a friend to share the dishes or else is it gonna be quite expensive and you wont get to try so many stuffs.
Went here today for lunch. The place was quite empty when we got in but filled up in no time. The banana leaf meals was very good. Their signature crab curry was just awesome. Loved the sambar and mutton dishes as well. Although a bit pricey than your regular banana leaf restaurant. The staff were quite attentive too.
Unlike mum who is an adventurous foodie, the same cannot be said about dad. Food for dad is Indian food. No wonder he and my half-half get along so well. Of course boozing is the other reason why they are best friends (hahaha!! really). I’m okay if they drink together as long as they don’t bring the roof down. Now came the family outing for Father’s Day and after reading a couple of good reviews on Rathaa Curry House,we decided to be here for lunch.
