No occasion for this family gathering. I thought since the situation is tense between all of us, maybe a meal together will calm the things we can calm and those can’t, we can’t do anything. SK 2 (not sure what’s with the two), same row as Ho Poh and featuring Nyonya and Thai dishes. Dishes we tucked into with rice – assorted steamed egg (medium), chicken in foil (large), Thai style prawn (medium), Teow Chew steamed fish, Nyonya brinjal (medium) and Hong Kong kailan (medium) plus 7 types of drinks (tea – 2x). Mixed reaction from the family over some of the dishes but I quite liked all the dishes especially the soft melt in the mouth egg and the fish, ahhh!! awesomely lovely for that bit of spicy sour tang. After paying RM242.80, we went back to mums and the situation, maybe slightly eased after this nice hearty meal.
