I came here twice or thrice in a week because I absolutely LOVED their cold soba. Although it’s not the traditional dip soba from Japan (this one is already in sauce), it is priced very affordably at RM8.45 for cold soba ONLY, and slightly more for toppings such as tofu skin (not sure what it’s called), tempura or chicken cutlet. I also order a kani maki with it at only RM1.85. SUPER CHEAP! And super tasty. I didn’t order tea because I had water, and altogether my bill with the service charge and everything was RM11.30. Affordable for tasty Japanese cuisine.
Few years ago, there were rumors about the cleanliness of this particular branch of Sakae Sushi that people started sharing it on social media. Next thing you know, there was a boycott. But that’s a few years ago. And I’m not keen on going back to Sushi King for cheap affordable sushi. Â Sausage sushi roll topped with mango.
I really love the restaurant but i dislike the service since it was soooo slow and i mean we came to the restaurant earlier than the customer before the lunch hour & we ordered really early but the food tht we ordered arrived slower than normal. I didn’t mean to be so rude but we don’t want tht other customers to queue up outside the restaurant because of our food didn’t arrived at the right time. I want tht our food to arrive at the right time so tht we can finish early and give our seat to the other customers.
