Heard a lot about their chocolate indulgence so gave it a try. It just blew my mind off. The cake is so smooth and creamy. The layers of the cake are perfectly balanced. I could almost eat it all day long. My all 4 stars just for chocolate indulgence.Also tried mac and cheese. Its just okay.Staff is friendly and service is quick.
Ordered a promotional set which happened to be chicken & only chicken was specified in the menu. Waitress asked us many times if we could change it to beef cos they ran out of chicken meatballs. After saying yes, they proceeded to tell us that we can’t do that and since the set was already in our tab we couldn’t change to other food outside the promotion. Annoyed and angry since we waited quite a bit for our food and our starters hadn’t even arrived.I understand that English is not the staff’s strong suit but I indicated that I wanted my cake to be served later. They nod and tadah, the cake arrived first!Services were horrible as the staff was chatting and laughing away in one counter. Totally unprofessional. Food was okay, served warm. Ambience was okay. But the staff and services were so horrible I’m never setting foot there again.

Those years when choices of home style cafes were limited, we used to frequent Secret Recipe for their Irish lamb shank. In fact a favorite for my half-half. Quite a hearty meal – succulent shank soaked up in the thick gravy and the mashed potatoes, oh yum. Now every once a while or whenever I crave for the carrot cake, I stop by to pack, my fav between the types of cakes. Butter frosted and with generous amount of nuts, raisins and tiny bits of carrot, the cake is a joy for my sugar rush (not always though).The Red Velvet cake, Black Forest cake and Choc cake I have tasted too but carrot cake is the best for me.
