First time trying on this Japanese outlet. Everything is self service style, similar to food court style. Ordered fish katsu curry rice. Taste was ok. Just felt the curry is too little and the fish katsu also not enough to fill out stomach. Maybe it is more to a fast food type outlet.
Really disappointed with this branch. Ordered a large ontama beef bowl and got a lot more rice than beef. Seriously the beef to rice ration was really ridiculous. The Mid Valley branch had a better ratio and it didn’t feel like they were outright being misers with the beef there. Likely give this branch a miss next time
The idea is self service, you get into the line, you order, get a tray and ur order list, if u ordered noodles, u will get it while you are queuing on your way towards the counter. If u order rice, it will be given to you upon Payment. On your way (queue) towards the Payment counter there are side orders (fried snacks and oden). I tried their Yakiniku beef + egg it was RM13.80 (regular). Taste is good. Service is fast. Portion is not a lot. Affordable. If it was cheaper, i would’ve gave it a 5.
Fast and affordable food! personally, portions are a little too small for me but nonetheless if you’re looking for a place to eat on a budget, Yoshinoya fits the bill!
