When I tried this restaurant, I didn’t know that Ipoh was famous for it’s Briyani!! I’ve never been a fan of Malaysian style Briyani but since it’s my buddy’s favorite Friday lunch joint, I decided to give it a go. The restaurant applies a cafeteria style serving and on Friday, it’s packed with people queueing for the Briyani!! I had a combination of chicken briyani with mutton kurma and fried long beans. Verdict: it’s not bad at all, the combination worked well enough with a good balance of flavours from all ingredients. Its far from the best briyani I’ve ever had but the next time I stumble upon the restaurant, I would give it another try!!
