Chuup is one of the few places that persevered during the construction of Atria. They had a decent share of attention, thanks to their pork chop which not many places choose to do. Grandma’s Pork Chuup RM 19.90: shallow fried marinated pork loin served with homemade egg spinach and potato carrot ragout
Chicken chop and the pork satay is delicious but totally not the spaghetti. With the receipt of more than RM 30, the restaurant still going to charged RM 3 a bottle of mineral water. Totally cannot acceptable.
Chuup gives good value for the food you get. Great flavours in the dishes done consistently. I enjoyed the grandma’s pork chop as well as the nasi lemak with fried chicken. Wife really likes the lemongrass pork pasta and the sago gula Melaka is one of the better ones around.Ribs have been good too as was the prawn mee. Do try and be early as they do sell out favourites quite fast (the prawn mee for example) or alternatively, call and make a reservation for both table and food.
Read from another blog that their Pork Chop is good, frankly found it great. Portion wise is good, for small eaters better to share it. Only downside is their Popiah is quite pricey, if compared to other locations.
Quite a number of people recommended us to eat at Chuup, so here we are on a Sunday noon for a late brunch. Chuup is a family-run cafe & restaurant that features a number of pork dishes on their menu, which also explains their popularity especially among the porcine lovers. Based on the what we were told, the pork satay and ribs here are the absolute “must haves”. Unfortunately for us, the pork satay was already sold out so we had to settle for alternatives. Actually, quite a number of items were not available on the menu that day, it must had been a busy Saturday.
