There was quite some hype when this American franchise decided to open up. I honestly haven’t heard about them before this and wasn’t sure what the hype was about. Their menu gravitates towards beer/pub grub but since they are in a family-friendly neighborhood mall, they have proper meals, some with a local touch. They offer quite a variety of sliders, mostly of Western flavor.
If you’re searching for the worst customer service in KL, you’ve come to right place. I’ve dined at this place over 25 times as it is nearby my work, and it is unfortunate to say that I am still yet to experience competent, pleasant and efficient service from the staff here. Tonight, I walked in and did the usual routine of awkwardly looking around as the staff pretended to not notice any of the customers, and after being ignored for a few minutes, I was finally graced with the privilege of being condescendingly acknowledged by one of the staff members, I ordered a takeaway meal – 15 mins from ordering the meal, I deemed it appropriate to order my Uber home thinking it shouldn’t take much longer for my order to come out. Boy, was I wrong. I don’t know what I was thinking expecting competency from this place. 20 mins later and my food still isn’t out. When I asked for an update, I was provided with very informative and useful responses such as “it’s coming” and “they’re cooking it”. Wonderful! I couldn’t even give my waiting Uber driver an estimated waiting time.Eventually, I cancelled the order and was of course, glared at and rudely treated by Green Dot’s fantastic staff. I rushed into the Uber, and it is now past 9pm and I am: dinnerless, stressed (wasted RM120 on a massage at Thai Odyssey upstairs to de-stress mere minutes before stepping into this establishment), and writing this review wondering why the Green Dot staff hate customers so much. -2/10. I urge management to put your staff through customer service training.

Green Dot Stables that located at Center Point, Bandar Utama is one of an ideal place to hang out. Love its interior that fits with high tables, barrels and for comfort dining, they do have a stretch of it.
