Food has always been consistent here, the manager is forever friendly (and has remembered me throughout all my different hair colors). Their location is on the 1st floor, so it’s not particularly disabled friendly but it’s great for a quiet Japanese meal. Check out their bento and lunch sets!
Hokano is your little neighrbourhood Japanese restaurant. Ambience is not that great, no frills and not much deco so do not expect much. A word of warning though, you gotta have patience when dining here. Only because their service for food is slow. And i would assume because it’s maybe a family-run restaurant, there is probably only 1-2 chefs doing the cooking. But people do sit and wait for the food because its good! Good quality for neighbourhood standards. Able to beat your sushi zanmais anytime. Menu is not extensive but sufficient. Wished they had more bento sets. Oh, sometimes they do have some sets outside of the menu, so you can ask the ladyboss about it. Pricing, not neighbourhood standards 🙂 Expect to pay as much as the sushi chained restaurants. Basically, you’re mainly paying for the food quality since deco and ambience is nothing to shout about.
