It’s a popular place for sure. Queues start at 6-ish for dinner. Reservations are advisable. Food is delicious in that wholesome mama’s home-cooked meals, kind of way. Everything is rustic, simplified and honest. Out of the six items ordered, I enjoyed all six, and intend to return for more.
This Hakka food place I’ve visited over a span of a year. It was then I realise this place is not the place I would recommend Hakka food intake. Vegetable Stew / Suen Choy (RM10). Most of their dishes were not cooked long enough and they just dash few spoons of corn flour to thicken the sauce. Hakka Braised Pork with Mui Choy
The uncle that works there was very rude. Reluctant to serve party of less than 2 ppl. Refused to serve single plate meal even though the menu clearly stated available from 11am to 6pm.
