Overpriced and overhyped. The linguini puttanesca that’s on their set lunch menu had a sickeningly overpowering taste that put me off tomato-based sauces for a bit. It’s a great place for Instagram shots, though, as they definitely value aesthetic over taste.
Came here for my assignment as it looks quiet and cozy from the outside. Turns out, it was indeed quiet and cozy. Loved the environment. Good workplace. Cakes were great too.
Quite a disappointing first visit here. Ordered monster poutine, duck mango salad and all day breakfast waffle. The only good thing about monster poutine was the poached egg. The waffle fries were so hard and the gravy was so salty. Where’s the mango in the duck mango salad? The duck was so tough. Luckily the all day breakfast waffle was alright. Sausage and waffles were good. The service is very good and attentive but I’m not coming back again.
The buttermilk chicken chop does not have the buttermilk at all, it taste more like ginger onion rice instead, moreover the chicken chop tasted sour, not sure if its suppose to be like that. Overall for environment and service is quite good.
Healthy organic food with clean and simple environment, not overcrowded despite they only have one floor. Service is good especially they help to put on candle on my self bring cake (which candles was not provided) as well as laying the cake well in front of the birthday girl with assistance of lighting the candles.Overall is fine for me but for my family who’s used with normal Chinese cuisine seems to find the taste out of their comfort zone.
