Lovely hidden gem just besides Atria Mall in Damansara Jaya that serves delicious and reasonably priced Nonya food. As far as authenticity goes, I’ll leave it to the foodies to decide, but what I can say is that all the dishes that I sampled on my last trip were genuinely delicious, fresh and cooked with love.The set meal for two is reasonably priced at RM49.90 and comes with one chicken dish (Curry or Pongteh Chicken), one fish dish (Curry, Sambal or Assam Fish), one vegetable of the day, two dishes of rice and two servings of dessert. The portion served fed us amply, and the food was all cooked from scratch. My favorite of the trio was the Pongteh Chicken which came with a rich sauce that wasn’t too salty or sour. It matched white rice perfectly, and all of the chicken pieces were cooked till fork tender.The Assam Fish was also a star, and came with two slices of fish, long beans, lady fingers and pineapple. According to the chef, the Assam sauce is made from scratch, and I find it hard to argue. The sauce was bursting with aroma, flavorful with the right amount of kick and all round delicious.Will definitely return here to try out their other dishes soon!
