Good day, I'm Christian, the owner of The Art Cafe and also the chef. I would like to make my statement here just to make a few things clear. The Art Cafe used to be a restaurant, but since June, 2011 it's not a restaurant anymore. Now a day, The Art Cafe is just a house. I meant house. It's not a restaurant which converted from a house. It's actually just a house that provided food. So, when you come to my house for food, here is something that you might know first. 1. There is no signage or signboard at my place. (Who would put a signboard in front of their house?) 2. There might be cats running around (I love animals), but usually I'll put them in the cage when friends visit. 3. No fanny deco like the other restaurants do. And please do not compare my place with restaurant. Like I said, it's just my house. 4. Don't expect that you will get your food 5 minutes right after you ordered. (I'm the only chef and I do not pre-cook the food) Then, you might wondered why people or even myself still call it The Art Cafe since it's not a cafe or restaurant anymore. Well, I would love call it " Christian's Place" or something like " Uncle Christian Place". But since I'm not that old and people seem like know The Art Cafe from the start, it's just difficult for me to change the name. That's why people still call it "The Art Cafe" Thanks for your time. .
