Would love to be polite but the expirence eating here is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Popped in for a quick lunch today, Sunday 17 March and ordered some simple stuff Char Siew and Siew Yoke rice, Loh Mai Kai, Taro Dumplings, stir fired Reddish cakes and fried prawn wanton. ordered was placed at 12.44 pm. The fried wanton (which was our second order) came after 5 min and everything went downhill after that. the Char Siew Siew Yoke came 8 mins after the wanton arrived with no sight of the rest after 15 mins. Asked the easier to check but no response from the kitchen. After, 25 mins asked to see the manager but avoided me like the plague and still no response from the kitchen. After 30 mins started to complain loudly then only one of the more senior waiter took notice and assisted in checking on my order. BTW they also got one of the dishes wrong. It seems that all customers are not created equally at Ying Ker Lou as those in the rooms get preferred service and the attention of the outlet manager. Will I return? never.
