Great ambiance and lighting in the restaurant. Plenty of decorations and a variety of magazines to relax with. A bit small of a restaurant but comfy to chill. Reasonable price with amazing food. I really recommend the steak.
Objectively, this place is not bad at all. On a better day I’d perhaps rate them 3.5/5. The cooking is decent, and food has nice flavor. Portions are small, for the price. I regret, however, having to rate this establishment the lowest because of a terribly sour experience with the staff. The waiter completely forgot to input the mee sup tulang order. Upon query he reassured that it will take only a while longer. Surprised and a bit dismayed why it was taking long, especially since everyone else finished their dishes, I soon discovered the waiter forgot the order and transmitted it to kitchen 45 minutes late. Once I confirmed this via different staff, I requested that the order be cancelled since I not only lost appetite but also what’s the point in eating alone once everyone in my party was done? To the staff’s credit, they apologized profusely. Yet, sorry just doesn’t cut it. At this point I’d still consider rating them a fair 3.5 (as if they give a shit), but I was shocked that a manager/owner saw the whole spectacle from 3 tables away and made no conciliatory gesture nor mitigating offer. That’s just crass, rude, and suicidal-businesswise. As a consumer I have little recourse other than punishing a bad business by no more giving them my money. That’s what I will do and I did inform them they shall no longer glean a crumb off my wallet. That’s all. I apologize for this quasi tirade, but I feel fellow Zomatians deserve to know it. I remind the reader again, the food isn’t bad.
I basically love the place. Delicious humble food, cozy ambience, friendly staff and reasonable price. Must try the sup tulang its delicious and you can taste the aromatic spices in it!
