Why coconut steamboat? I thought of just giving it a try to see what’s the difference between coconut steamboat and normal steamboat. There are 3 types of broth to pick from – the pure coconut, coconut chicken and tomyum. We opted for the coconut chicken broth instead of the pure coconut broth. Based on what I’ve read online, they advertised themselves as coconut broth + ordering a whole kampung chicken to dip into your coconut broth for a nice sweet flavour.
If you love steamboat and are looking for something new to try, Coconut Steamboat surely fits the bill. Like the name says, you can enjoy food cooked in light and sweet coconut broth which brings out the flavor of the ingredients naturally. The restaurant dons a clean, modern and sleek decor that’s untypical of the usual steamboat restaurants. It actually feels more like a cafe.
