Kelana Jaya is a big neighborhood of its own. The problem is trying to locate its hidden gems which are really hidden from the main road. Take this for example. Hence, we were curious to see where Offpeak would bring us to. It turned out to be at a condo unit. The funny thing was the place was dimly lit and there was no one else that we thought the place closed down.
This place is not bad at all from my point of view. Very peaceful, easy to find parking & standard food selection but it’s a bit expensive for simple dishes. Came here on a Saturday evening, which to me, should be crowded in normal cafes. With intentions to study, I came here for the coffee and cakes. The japanese cheese cake and french vanilla latte is very satisfying. I don’t see any flaw with their coffee and cakes selection. The food isn’t as good but it’s consumable.To me, the cafe’s silence and lack of customers are two good things for me as a second option for me to do my work next to the library. So in my opinion, this is one of the very work-friendly cafe. But I still wonder how do they survive running a cafe that’s lack of customer. I hope they won’t close down one day as it is such a nice place for me to go to.All in all, I love this place very much. Though I was the only customer here for the last 4 hours in the cafe, it is such a blissful way to spend time in a quite cafe alone because I wasn’t disturbed by noises of any kind. I just wonder why don’t people come here to chill.
