Environment: 4/5The space is very clean and tidy, lots of seating space and has a open kitchen. Food: 4.5/5This is my top go to for Roti Canai, although it’s on the pricy side. Hospitality: 4/5Staffs are friendly, although is harder to get your order in when the restaurant is busy.
First try roti Telugu here, although the price is little expensive than mamak, but I still recommend it to those really like roti telur. The roti size is value too for money with the bigger size of it, I will recommend this Indian restaurant as the most must try Indian food restaurant in pj .
One of the best Nasi Kandar chain in town! But at the moment I came not for the Nasi Kandar but for Canaaaiii! Ordered Canai Kayu Special – torn Canai with Curry and Boiled Eggs, comes with Curry Daal and Sambal. My first time trying this and I loveee it! Also ordered Canai Telur Bawang and Canai Milo, both are scrumptious! Last but not least, tasty Teh Tarik to complete our Canai galore!
While the food is fresh and quick, the taste is no where near authentic. Some dishes are over priced. Often the staff are not ready to help or explain given that the crowd is overwhelming. It’s good for roti canai and teh tarik. May come back for Teh and Roti, but not the rest.
If you are in Malaysia and can handle some spice, a must visit place. Nasi Kandr Kayu, or original kayu as they are called is a great place, where they serve Indian Malaysian cuisine food. As told by a close friend, Kandar cuisine, originated in Penang, by Indian Malaysians, when they would carry the food in woven cane basket and would carry these on their shoulder with support of a bamboo. Nasi, as we all know if Rice.So its a pre-cooked array of food and you can choose what you feel like eating and then billed based on the items you pick.A la carte is also available, and yes, you can also get Ice Kachang!!!Best part, its Buka Jam (open 24hrs).Will return again, Terima Kasih!!
