Came here for dinner on a Friday night and wasn’t really packed. Ordered the fried salted egg pasta with pork, a pulled pork panini and a black glutinous coconut milk for dessert. Pasta was okay, pulled pork wasn’t really pleasant, dessert was so-so as well. Think their pork ribs could be much better, oh well maybe next time.
Food was average, nothing to shout about. Found the food too sweet for my taste. Was rather disappointed that all their sandwiches and Siew yoke ran out. Unlikely that I’ll come back here.
I liked their rendition of the pork ribs, portions are enough for two to share. They also had some yakitori side dishes which we tried, not bad at all. Staff were able to explain the dishes when we requested for more information.
Jalan alor is nice and all, but the one thing that is unique and worth the trip is the secret recipe spicy ribs here. I had three ribs, a beer and Pandan pancake and it was absolutely amazing.Do not miss the opportunity to eat these if you come to KL!
