Boss curry house is the current boss among the residents or so called Kota Kemunians. Quite a hype and spoken about for the Chettinad food. So Mr and Mrs Kota Kemuning decided to find out what’s sensational about Boss.Aplenty of choices as per the menu and attentive service. Rice for dinner we thought is heavy, thus we ordered chappati (2 pcs per order), masala mutton, custom made paper tosai with egg (as per my request and not on the menu), bru coffee cow’s milk and tea with cow’s milk.The hot beverages came first, then the crispy huge tosai with coconut chutney, sambar and tomato chutney. But chappati was forgotten until we called again. Tosai fared quite right, chappati so-so, the accompaniments alright as well and masala mutton – soft meat and taste just average. Hot beverages – basically the same as anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance – classy, air-conditioned and soft classical music. While tucking into the meal, I noticed the lady giving out survey forms to the customers and really, wonder why I was not one of them but as we walked out, she sure looked at us. We are planning to return again for lunch because our Chinese neighbours are impressed with the beriyani and thali style rice set meals and they sure are the regulars at boss.
