Decent penang food at a very reasonable price. My Prawn Mee was not bad. I enjoyed the rojak. Fresh cut fruits and cucumber, sprinkled generously with lots of peanuts and crispy you tiao. Gives a nice crunch to it. The sauce is not too sweet or too much, just right. However, I wouldn’t come here all the way from KL. Not worth the trip. I hated my nutmeg juice, it’s watered down sugar water.

This place is my everyday go to place for lunch as lunch is not cooked at home. I normally order their Prawn mee and char kuey teow. Their char kuey teow and Prawn mee is DELIGHTFUL. The portion is also quite big. So the price u pay is worth it. This place is also quite clean and the waiter and waitresses are REALLY friendly and polite!

Featuring Penang famous dishes, Gurney Delight became the delight of the Kota Kemunians. It is still. The couple of times I have been here, especially during the peak time, packed with customers. And their popularity shot high up, thus, gave birth to another outlet in Puchong. I’ve tried a few of the dishes and the last trip – Lam Mee, Seafood Fried Rice, the wobbly jelly with a squeeze of calamansi lime and one piece of Lychee and Teh Kosong.  Dishes cannot be faulted and the jelly, quite sensational. Above all, its the sambal which kicks in the  punch for all the dishes. Sambal is really good, in fact, when I packed the dishes, an extra packet I request.  And prices – just a little more compared to the coffee shops and you sure tuck into a meal in the air-conditioned ordinary dining area or sit outside if you like.
