Our first time in Hoo Family, it’s basically a coffee shop restaurant. For a corner lot eatery, I will consider it rather cramp, especially the inside dining area. A couple of stalls, we tried the Thai stall. Tom yam seafood soup, pork fried rice and glass noodle salad. Not bad, though nothing sensational. We also tried rojak buah/fruit from another stall. Cold like ice fruits, in a subtle, didn’t make a lasting impact sauce. The fish ball noodle soup on the other hand was good. Fresh, springy balls, alongside noodles, flat brown tofu and some green veg, accompanied with birds eye chillies in soy sauce. We won’t mind returning again, was told that the western food is worth the try.
