Like many others Japanese Cuisines out there, Matsuda Japanese Restaurant serves a variety of dishes from Sashimi, Sushi, Temaki, Tempura to Japanese Set Meals. Matsuda Japanese Restaurant is guarantee only serves the freshest seafood ingredient to diners by refilling stock once every week.
For Evon’s birthday, I took her to enjoy her favourite Japanese cuisine at a place we normally do not visit – Kota Kemuning. Initially, I was thinking of taking her to Nihon Kai but ended up choosing Matsuda instead. Well, have to try new places, right?. I think you could tell what we ordered just by looking at the photos. We left the place feeling very satisfied with the service, the portion, the freshness of the seafood including the sashimi, and the flavours.
Anything special compared to other Japanese restaurants at Matsuda?? Not really but Japanese food definitely a popular demand among Kota Kemunians, though a few restaurants which opened up initially has bungkus/tapau/closed down when KK wasn’t so populated. We came over on a Sunday for dinner and managed to find an empty table for two just across the counter. The menu, as said, the same type of sets and individual dishes. We had the tempura set, sashimi set, edamame/Japanese steamed beans (refer to the pictures) and green tea. Service quite prompt or should I say that such meals can be assembled quickly and served?? Taste wise – acceptable, bill wise – slightly pricey and portion wise – filling.
