I saw this place while entering the Sunway Nexis mall and it was written in bold letters claiming to be the oldest Nasi Kandar in Malaysia Estd 1907. So I went there along with a friend for dinner to try it’s food. I asked the waiter for their best dishes and he recommended Ayam Bawang [8.50 RM] and Kambing Mysore [12 RM].Along with the above two dishes I ordered Ayam Biryani [11.50 RM], Nasi Putih [1.80 RM], Kobis Sepinggan [2 RM], Pappadam [2 RM], Mangga fruit juice [6.50 RM] and Sirap Bandung [2.70 RM]. The Sirap Bandung was made with fresh milk & rose essence and it was delicious along with the Mangga fruit juice.The Ayam Bawang is onion fried chicken which is rich in oil and tasted delicious when mixed with rice. Next the Kambing Mysore is a rich aromatic curry featuring tender mutton pieces and I thoroughly enjoyed eating both the dishes. This place looks new and it is very well maintained. Their service is real quick.

When navigating through this heavily saturated enclave, Hammediyah Nasi Kandar stands out in bright yellow and pleasant green, with tidy seats and tall ceiling with warm lighting and a delicious wafting scent of spices. We often see nasi kandar stalls with mamak, traditionally wearing a sarung on the waist and friendly smile beneath that moustache. Here, it is represented on the walls to making it family friendly to dine in. Eat outdoor when it is breezy, or dine on mezzanine level for a bit more privacy.
