One of my favourites that I visit at least once a month. Famous for its cencaru goreng with petai. The chicken sambal is spicy and delicious. For desserts, a must try is the pulut tekan. Service is fast and good.
Food quality has dropped drastically over the years. I will never come back again. We ordered butter chicken and it did not taste anything like the name of the dish.
Pork free restaurant. Food is good! Not entirely Nyonya, as it has some Portuguese touch to it too. Deco is rustic with wooden furniture and figurines. Must tries: fried chicken, ikan Asam pedas, mutton curry, cendol. Totally recommend this restaurant
Excellent place for Nyonya food. Prices are very reasonable; decor is rustic and quirky; flavours are authentic; chillies are spicy. Coming from a Nyonya family I can tell you this is the real stuff! Be prepared to suffer the after effects. My personal all-time favourites are the ikan cincaru, terung black pepper, sambal terung, stir-fried daun keledek, and sago gula melaka. I’ve also tried a few of the other stuff. Can’t say there is anything to avoid. A great place to host large dinner parties and family gatherings.
